Sears Phonograph and 8 track player

I have a phonograph, 8-track player, and AM/FM radio. I am relatively new to all this, so bear with me. I have found that the phonograph needle works, but I can not figure out how to play the records. There is a switch that says Reject/On/Off, but it does not appear to have a lever to go with it, and the switch itself does not move. All the player says on it is Sears, and it has a model number of 132.97550300. Can anyone help?
