M100C Mechanism

by ultraliter » Thu Jan 29, 2015 4:35 pm

How far down in the play notch should the roller be when record is playing? How far down should the roller be in the scan notch when scanning. My roller only seems to go into play notch about half way.
Thanks
Bob

Look at the brake cam--if "centered", on IT's roller, that's as far down as the roller can go--Ron Rich

Hi Ron
What is the brake cam? I see no references to that in my manual.
Thanks
Bob

Thank you Ron
For some reason when I go through the clutch adjustment procedure and when I get to Clutch 4, clutch play position adjustment, my clutch is not below the worm pin and I cant get the 1/64" clearance between the bottom of the worm pin and top of clutch. I thought that the clutch shift roller was not going into the clutch shift lever cam deep enough. Any suggestions. This mechanism was worked on by someone that should work on a bicycle. Now I own it and am trying to get everything back in order.

Thanks
Bob

Hi Ron
Thanks for all your help. I found the problem, old age and bad eye sight.........I was looking at the wrong pin. Got it all adjusted today, hopefully it will work right.

Thanks Again
Bob
