Hi Jason,
The only cap you need to change inside the PA is the 473 (.05, or.047), connected to two pins of the tube socket. I have no idea where the "474" could fit in there--the other two, I assume, are replacements for the ceramic caps--which unless "Solar brand", or physically broken, will never be bad-- Ron Rich

T the risk of creating an echo chamber here, I agree with Ron re:caps in the P-A. I've done over 40 of them and have a bagful here to back up the 9 in service. Other than the 0.047 mfd cap and 5.6 meg-ohm resistor, the only other repair I've ever made on the pulse amps was a broken primary lead on the small pulse transformers (really unusual).

Rob, and all,
I would guess that I have re-built/checked, over 400 of them-like Rob said--I also found one transformer lead broken off, however, this obviously, had some "help" from one of Rob's Gepetto friends, who had "changed everything" in the PA-- I also recall ONE PA, that had another resistor that change value--it was a 33 something ( all I recall is the orange, orange stripes, and I am to lazy to pull a schematic--) Ron Rich
