I have a HF100R jukebox. I just purchase a PVRC remote which I understand is the wrong remote - I should have gotten a MVRC. I did read that I could replace the switch on the PVRC with a pot an that would work. Does anyone know the correct wiring to connect the pot to the plug for the jukebox?

thanks

Mike

Mike,
There is no way that you can use a "PRVC" to replace the manual volume control that a "R" uses. The "P" stands for "P"owered, and there are no provisions for that (even if you had the motor). If you really want to do it "cheap", and you have the control head for the PRVC, you can remove the volume control from the MRA-5, add more cable, install the pot into the plastic housing, in place of the switch, rewire it, and the 'jumper plug". You will also need to splice into the reject wires, if you want a remote reject----Ron Rich

Sorry Ron - I got it a little backwards- For my HF100r I need a MRVC - I purchase, in error, a PRVC. I understand tha I can remove the volume switch and install a pot, to make it work. Would you know the wiring configuration for the 7 prong plug?

It's on the schematic, for the amplifier. Ron Rich
