Laurel and Hardy 78 RPM (Who's on First)

by Chicopee John » Mon Jul 23, 2007 5:45 pm

At a Garage Sale I came upon a 78 RPM record featuring Laurel and Hardy and their classic "Who's on First' skit.

Part 1 is on one side of the disc and Part 2 is on the flip side.

I am at work at forget the label but I do remember that there are characatures of Laurel and Hardy on each label - front and back.

The label is white in color.

Is this record 'collectable', rare, etc. or should it be filed with all the Frank Sinatra 78s?

This routine was never done by Laurel & Hardy. It was done by Abbott & Costello.

Abbott and Costello.

Hi,

The record is on Abbott and Costello, and I have a copy of this 78 rpm, it is on White label and supports a Lou Costello foundation. I have been told this record is rare, I know I paid $10.00 for it.

I would not file it with the Sinatra and Cugat and Dinah Shore/Buddy Clark 78's.

KEEP IT.
