Wurlitzer 1800

Upon making a selection, the motor engages and turns the selector. Unfortunately the record carrier does not turn.

Any suggestions

Underneath the record carriage is a switch. This switch keeps the record carriage from turning. Make sure it is in the right position.

It might be that the carraige motor is not working properly. Check the carbon brushes are not worn.
