Rowe Ami MM3 repair

Is there anyone help me to fix this old style jukebox?
I have a Rowe Ami Music Miracle MM3 not playing selection. The record changer model is 1100.
Everything seems to work without problems but I'm not able to play any records using the selection buttons. There is no moving of the selection fingers so no record loading starts.
What should I check?

The Service Manual is the place to start--read it, and use the terms in it to better describe the problem (s), and maybe someone will be able to help you--

Hello Davill,

As Ron says you need to get the manual and read it from cover to cover so you get to know the terminology we use (after allowing for which side of the pond you live).

Are you saying that once you have credit that the buttons pressed will not lock? i.e. the latch bar solenoid has energized locking the buttons until the Search Unit revolves and pushes out a A side or B side pin. The mechanism should then scan and the stop plate assembly locates the pushed out pin and stops. The tranfer motor selects the choosen record and the indexing selct it as a A or B side.

In order to help you if you have not already listed where you live please alter your profile so we can see what country you live in. This is a world wide forum.

Yes, I have credit that energize the latch bar solenoid.

No, this don't happen.

I have tried pushing an A or B pin by hand, and manually closing the switch of the relay located behind the plate assembly (the one on the left) starts the transfer motor and record selection sequence. So, basically, I miss the Search Unit job in the sequence.
I havo no manual or schematic diagram to understand what have to be checked.

Hello Daniele,

I suggest that you search in Europe for a Rowe Ami MM-3 manual if you can not find that manual then try for any of the MM series manals the wiring should not be that different and the adjustment will be all the same on the 1100 mechanism (used from 1963 Model L to 1976 R-80).
