I inherited my grandparents' Columbia Grafanola. I believe it is a Model 85. It has louvered doors to regulate the sound volume. And the push button eject system. I will post photos later. It looks like one I found online that says it is mahogany. I have steel and bamboo needles and a cutter to recut the bamboo needles.
I noticed in other posts that people were looking for information about the push-button section. I would be willing to send as many photos as needed.
In return, maybe someone can help me with my problem! When we moved this, we put it in our van, and unwittingly laid it down on its back. As a result, it seems that some of the hooks (I think they must be hooks) that connect the push buttons to the actual system that ejects the records are disconnected. Some push buttons work, some don't. I am not an engineer. My husband was but we did not try to fix it. I don't see anyway to see inside but I confess to not having made this the highest priority in my life.... Is it an easy fix? Or would it require disassembling a lot?
In most respects it is in excellent condition. There is some crazing of the finish on top but nothing is missing or broken and there are no scratches or dents. I have many records.
