Elvis on Sun

by Dallas Cowboys Fan » Sun Oct 22, 2006 7:45 am

I have all 5 of the original first pressing 78's Elvis recorded on the Sun label and one of his first 45's on RCA. can anyone tell me what they may be worth? My great aunt was a record promoter for Big State Record Company and I wound up with quite a few Sun label 78's, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and various artists on the Chess label such as Little Richard just to name one. Any help would be great. I plan on buying a price guide but I would also like some real world help. Thank's for any info.....

You could have some gems in there. Use the catalog as a guide to what has value not to fix an exact price as prices can vary from region to region. Rember that grading the condition is essential and takes some time to learn properly. Good for it's age is not a proper grading. There is much info on the internet as to how to evaluate records properly. good luck.
