Help !!

by FANTM58 » Fri Jun 05, 2015 8:57 pm

I moved my 1956 Wurlitzer 2000 into another room for 2 weeks for carpet install.
Upon putting it back ,only 30' away im not getting any sound from the speakers .
I can hear faint music from the needle but that's it
All my fuses appear to be good and tubes are all seated .
We're should I look first
Thanks
Robert H

Myriad of things can happen.
That said, an "over-the-internet" diagnosis is like asking a doctor 5000 miles away what's wrong with a child.
The tried-and-true old school way was and still is the best - go over the troubleshooting charts in the manual -or hunt down a servicer to inspect things personally.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.

OK
Some new updates, I've been busy with other stuff, and frustrated with this,
So I waled away for awhile.
But when I came back, I had been plugged in ( but switched off ) and it worked..... Kind of
It sounds muffled, not very clear
Does this narrow my issues !!!!
Thanks
Robert H
