Seeburg M100A plate switches

Can anyone tell me if the frame of the plate switches are supposed to be flat or are they slightly curved back?
I had 2 bad plate switches with the copper part that holds the plunger broken off. I got an old unit from Bill up in NAPA, CA and that unit had 6 of 10 plate switches with the frame broken away. The copper with nothing backing it up at the top.
If the plate switch backs are supposed to be flat then I am going to solder the ends where they are riveted. I think the rivets are too low in the original design and they are bending and breaking at that point.
See photos.
Thanks, James
