Seeburg AY160 Mech jumps/rises up

Thanks to Ron and Rob my AY160 is really working nicely ! I have one small issue that I am wondering about though. When the Mech scans from right to left it appears to rise up off it's rollers when it gets back to the right side and reverses. This only happens on the right side, not the left. I am not seeing anything that would cause this ? Everything seems to be adjusted properly and I do not see any obstruction, but obviously something is off. The Mech has been cleaned and lubricated, clutch has been removed and cleaned and lubricated as well. It didn't seem worn at all. Probably a 1-2-3 solution for the experts, so I figured I would ask.

Thank you !

Mark

Mark,
Hopefully, you will find some type of "obstruction" in, around, the pop meter section or the scan control switch on the rear of the phono--or the mech cable area. If not, I would guess that the base frame is warped---Ron Rich

Found that one of the plastic glides on the pop meter was just barely rubbing against a piece of the sheet metal, bent it away a bit and the jumping stopped. Thanks again !

Rob, and ALL,
I sincerely hope this is a "joke". I have been in what was then called, "East Germany", and another "like" country.
I can not divulge the "why" or when, to this day--but suffice to say, that "lifestyle" does not appeal, in any way, to me !
Anyway, please confine the comments on this forum, to related subjects--currently we have no "political" section !
