SMC Clutch question

by james301 » Sun Jan 12, 2014 8:42 am

After a trip to sears, 3 hours of work, some flying c clips and a few choice words I managed to get the clutch back together with no spare parts. In the disassembly process I managed to break retaining clip A though, and was wondering if anybody could tell me how thick it is so I can get an unbroken one later today.

Thanks, James.

James,
Both retaining clips are identical, and are the same on all Seeburgs--
I have never broken one of those -- don't know where they would be available--
PM me and I'll send you one, if you like-- (you might also want to "spring for" my mech guide--I think that you could have saved "a bunch" of time, in removing / replacing it by reading first --- )

I managed to find a clip that was almost identical at sears, believe it or not. It wasn't the disassembly or assembly part, it had so much gunk in it that I had to scrape off and clean to make it work. I do have your book, and it's VERY helpful!
