Wurlitzer Mechanism Motor 2600 and earlier (50's)

by tonily » Fri Apr 06, 2012 9:09 pm

Does anyone know of any alternative right-angle motor that will work? I have been searching for the specs for this motor for a while now without any luck..All I know is that it is a 28VDC reversible..Do not know the RPM's, torque etc. Perhaps someone knows of an armature that would work..The problem with mine is that the commutator bars are deeply worn almost to the shaft. Perhaps some could share some knowledge as to the history of these motors as I am hopeful to find that there was a similar motor made for another application which could be adapted to these Wurlitzers.

Thanks! Replies greatly appreciated!

You can probably have the motor repaired, at almost any small motor shop.
