Seeburg SS160: After much play, motor slows?

So I have a Seeburg SS160 which I just recently got to play records(!). I noticed that after a few hours of play, the record quickly slows almost to a stop. I'm assuming that this is a capacitor issue because if I turn it off and turn it back on a few minutes later, it works great for a few minutes, then does the same thing. The record sounds great when it's first picked up but quickly slows (Petula Clark quickly began to sound like a man!). :)

I'm assuming this means that the capacitor(s) is/are going bad? Which ones? Can you target me to where I can order them? Do I need to get a whole kit or can I get by with one capacitor?

Thanks!

The motor run cap is suspset if it is the original one--replace it. also change the caps in the autospeed unit.Good luck.

I dis-agree--the "motor run cap" is not suspect in my feeble mind--but the 4uf in the Autospeed sure is--

See your parts book, or just look at caps---see above list of parts suppliers--
