I just aquired another RCA console that's 6 feet long and has the receiver on the right and a Garrard 2025t turntable under the left lid. I have no idea what year this is, though it has legs, and a center storage compartment for records. I just got it working after I soldered a missing jumper wire on the speaker plug in the back. The turntable works fine, except that the needle skips over the record. How to I adjust the anti-skate on this? I only see one screw on the top and it only adjusts the height of the tone arm when it is lifted up. There is also a brass grommet in the corner of the turntable area. What is this for? Notice the jumper on one speaker terminal and the other is missing. Once I soldered a jumper that was missing, I got music! I love this thing!

That doesn't look like the original turntable. I don't think RCA ever used Garrard. At any rate there is no antiskate adjustment on this. Most likely you have a bad stylus.

RCA Victor DID use Garrards AND BSR changers - in their Canadian models.
This appears to be one of them.
