AMI K 200 ELECTRIC JUKEBOX CAROUSEL select PROBLEM

by straycat_gr » Mon Feb 09, 2015 3:06 pm

When selecting a song the rotating arm on the back of the carousel wheel, sometimes gets crazy and starts hitting rapidly different pins, instead of the one selection made. anybody might know the cause?

My guess is that it might be some problem in the pulse converter...maybe a switch blade is stuck?

Solved!
Problem was the number circuit board in the pulse converter. Took it apart and re-soldered a bad soldering connection. it seems that it was corrupted at one point were the front soldering meets the back part of the circuit board. Good thing I didn't have to buy a new reproduction board!
