Rockola turntable won't spin

Had my Rockola 488 in perfect working order till it was moved, now it powers up fine, the carriage works, picks up the record, but the turntable won't spin. Any suggestions or ideas? thanks - Phil

Hi
Will it spin when you scan the mechanism? Is the turntable sitting correctly on the idler wheel?Is the turntable getting power maybe fuse problem

Hi Phil,
Sure --you "moved it"--without properly preparing it to do so-( see the above post--how to move a jukebox).
You will need to lift up on the turn table, and look at the idler wheel--you will see that it is spring "loaded"--it must be "pushed inside" the turn table as it's lowered into position,in order to function. Ron Rich
