Hi
Im new to this sight and to having a perpetuum-ebner its housed in a optra radio and I can fix it all day long but the turntable is another issue. its a perpetuum-ebner_rex model just a rex
I got it home and it wasn't working so I took it gently apart and found the belt broke and one slipped off. So I bought two new belts slipped them on and it started to work again after a lube and clean too. But its sluggish all three speeds are off by 3 to 4 rpms and I think its the idler spring or the a rubber idler wheel, The wheel itself is not stiff or mushy it looks and feels new . So im stumped im used to belt or gear driven setups without an idler wheel ..Can anyone help me point me to something..? anything .This might be an issue too the idler wheel is sloppy on its track it wont sit right.
I really want to make this work other wise im replacing it with a newer set up.
Thanks
