Rockola 477 and 484 displays

by clones » Tue Jun 18, 2013 8:54 pm

Hi
Has anyone come across any reason why either of the above jukeboxes go from fully working displays all normal, to where the LED displays will not work, the machine can't be credited and a selection cannot be made. This is the second time i have come across this problem in three weeks. Is it possibly a profit setter problem?
regards

Well , I wish I knew. Still got problems with my Max 477 with the "record playing " display. Locks up after a period of time & then no selections can be made. I have to switch it off for 15 minutes at least before I can make selctions again. I have taken my profit setter board back to the dealer who sold me the juke & he is going to try changing IC's. Changing the Logic board for my spare board produved the same fault. Regards, Dennis.

I suppose it has be one or the other, the pre digital jukeboxes seem to be more reliable and fixable
