I HAVE A MAGNAVOX MICROMATIC RECORD PLAYER THAT I GOT PASSED TO ME... I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT EXCEPT THAT IT NEEDED A NEEDLE AND OTHER THAN THAT WORKED FINE... WELL IN THE MOVE THE ARM THAT HOLDS THE NEEDLE BROKE SO NOW I NEED TO FIND THE ARM AND THE NEEDLE... PLEASEEE HELP ME... THIS IS SOMETHING CLOSE TO ME AND I CANT BELIEVE IT BROKE... I TRIED LOOKING ON EBAY BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT IM LOOKING FOR... HERE ARE SOME PICS

The arm is made of Bakelite, which is why it broke. It should have been taped to the restpost for shipment, since that model has no positive locking clamp.

If you had all of the pieces, I would suggest super glue. My favorite Collaro arm (in the avatar) was broken and super-glued back together.

Now the good news:

Almost any arm from a Collaro Conquest (TC-340, TSC-640), Collaro Coronation (TSC-740), or Collaro Studio 60, as well as the Magnavox 400, 600, 800, and 802 series, will fit this. The catch is that if you use an arm from a different Collaro, you need to also replace the restpost with the one for that arm. Avoid the square aluminum arms and anything after 1967 - they don't fit.

Even the arm from a mono changer will work, if you substitute the wiring you have.

My suggestion would be to find another identical changer (usually on eBay for $10 - $30) and either replace the arm or replace the changer. Don't forget to set up the stylus force afterwards. I don't see any now for less than $125, but that one won't sell for that price. The portables have the same arms the consoles have.
