We recently acquired a Magnavox Sterophonic Cabinet or console. It is in excellent working condition. We are looking for someone that could give us some information about the unit and possibly a value. Thx.

The photos are a little too dark to see properly.
This site isn't really about "valuations."
But someone might have a stab at it, but it's really a question of being what it's worth to someone who wants it.
Your best bet if you don't want it, is to put it on eBay.

Those Magnavox cocktail table models are common and not worth a lot these days.
Best to just keep it an enjoy it for what it's worth.

I have two of those stacked out in the garage...paid $30 bucks apiece for them and they are functional. They just need some cabinet TLC. I'm gonna put one out on my back patio. --BB

I like Mattech's idea. I paid $1.00 For a big Zenith console (mint) at the last auction I was at. You can try to sell it but you would be hard pressed to get much. It's just the way things are with these. Good luck because there are exceptions.

I tried to supply some pics from my grainy cell phone. The cabinets are identical but the turntables are slightly different. One has the taller on/off speed selector on the right, with a smaller platter, while the other has the switch on the left, with a larger platter. They both have the same receiver/amp.
I would like to find a matching companion extension speaker that also serves as record storage. If you flip a switch inside the main cabinet, the unit will switch to one channel while the extension speaker switches to the other to give you a wider stereo separation. If left alone, the main cabinet will operate in stereo. I think that versatility is neat.
I WOULD KEEP IT AND ENJOY IT FOR WHAT IT IS. Who knows, thrown infront of a sofa, folks won't suspect what's lurking inside of that cabinet...something more than placing your drinks on and they may be pleasantly surprised when you open those doors, pullout that door and play some LP's, radio or an external CD/Cassette...whatever media you choose. The aux inputs/outputs are back there. --BB
