Hello,
I am looking at a ami in eBay. I was wondering how hard do you think it will be to find a front door assy including the selector assy. It's a ami continental 2 100 selection auto select model. It's missing a bunch of other parts also.
Thanks,
Ed

Should be about as "plentiful" as hen's teeth--but you might want to check with the "Usual Suspects" listed above in "announcements--where to find---"

Hello fortytwo,
I would wait until you can find a complete machine which has all the parts rather than looking for over priced spare parts and the worse parts to get are cabinet trim.

Good advice, I just have to be patient when a box comes up for sale for the right price.

Howdy,
Just a follow up.
I did get the machine with missing parts. I got it for a good enough price. I currently have it almost complete, but working now. I have less into it than most of the rebuilders that come up. I ended up making my own front door, I'm not incredibly happy with the hinge but I won't mater if I end up making a replacement for the casting.
I still need to make the outer frame, casting replacement. Then I will get the new parts cromed. I'm still looking for the casting and buttons and ep arm. That's the short list.
