Recently I installed a new version of the phpBB software (the software the forum runs on). I also added a so called "MOD" which could help protect against spamming and fake-account bots.

Although I have tried several things to get rid of spamming, so far they were unsuccessful. The MOD I installed friday, however, makes a good chance of being successful. But, let's wait and see first. So far no spam and fake accounts detected yet

Hi Marcel.
The new software seems to be doing it's job! I haven't seen nude Britney's, used cars or investment opportunities since it's installation.
It's been great, and well worth installing. The occasional post wasn't so bad, but they were hitting you pretty hard towards the end there.
