78's for My Collection

Most weekends I spend a good deal of time looking for 78's. I have a decent collection and I'm able to find them fairly easily. Sad to say, most people just don't value them. But, it does make it easier for me to get them.

Although I am constantly searching, some records continue to elude me. This is a list of 78's I'm still trying to locate. If you have any copies of these that you are willing to sell or trade (I might have a 78 your looking for), please let me know.

Gene Austin- Bye Bye Blackbird (Victor 20044)

Ray Noble and his Orchestra- Midnight, the Stars and You (Victor 24700)

New Mayfair Dance Orchestra- Guilty (HMV B-6097)

Geraldo and his Orchestra- Heart and Soul (HMV BD-5427)

Marline Dietrich- Falling in Love Again (Victor 22593)

Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra- Smoke Gets in Your Eyes (Victor 24455)

I found a reissue of The Very Thought of You and Goodnight Sweetheart (RCA Victor 20-2950) on Ebay and just got it in the mail. I'll strike those two from my list. If anyone has a copy of Al Bowlly signing Dreaming (HMV BD-835 or EA-2684), I'm needing that record too. It was released in England and has been hard for me to find.
