Turntable rubber belt for Wurlitzer 2150

Hey - What's the easiest way to replace an old drive belt on a Wurlitzer 2150? Does it require removing any parts first? Thanks! Bob C.

Bob, nothing need be removed.

Select an empty record slot and turn off power when the machine goes into play mode.

Pull back on the circular flange in the center of the flywheel to clear the two rollers and work the new belt around the rollers and onto the flywheel and motor pulley. It is likely that some oil will get on the new belt during this process so a use a little rubbing alcohol on a piece of paper (i use a square of toilet paper).

The old belt can be either cut off or removed by reversing the method above.
