***Though analog TV is part of the history books, I've heard that it is possible to use a digital converter box, even with some of the very old sets, with proper adapters.

Thanks for the links--very interesting--although I dis agree with a couple of his statements--On TV sound, for instance--It's STILL "bad" at times, with a "modern" TV working off either cable, or "Direct TV"-- (this makes me"crazy" at times when I can hear it well, but can NOT understand what's being said--Other times, when a "commercial comes on" it "blows me out of the room"--). I also think that his "safety warnings" are VERY true, but somewhat unclear--- Ron Rich
