Hi Everyone, I have a new issue with my Seeburg V200. The Juke Box fails to reject the first 10-12 records, but then returns to normal working order. Your help , thank you. Preston--

This probably trip switch contacts.

From a cold start, remove the mech cover, make a selection when the mech fails to trip at end take a screwdriver and short the terminals on the trip switch. If the mech trips -you have found the problem. There are two sets of contact on the mech that open the trip-reject circuits that can cause this problem, but with 9 of these systems on location, some for well over 20 years, I've never had a problem with those contacts. An easy test here would be to let the mech spin at the end of a record and run a plastic pointer (pen, etc) over the two on-mech contacts stacks to jog them.

Of course the trip thyratron tube can cause this, but it most often will fail to detent at a selection.
