A 1946 Philco Radio/Phonograph Model 46-1201 code 121. Designed to play a single 78rpm record of 10" or 12" size by inserting the record through the opening and closing the door. When the recording is finished the excentric groove at the center trips the off switch. Then as you open the door the arm lifts and returns to the starting point. It's pretty neat to see how this operates. The sound is loud, the tone rather good through a 4"X6" electrodynamic speaker. The radio also plays well.

Vinyl is disease which attacks that area of the brain desiring digital recordings. Once you catch it, you are cured.
