Oh gosh...How I hate my stupid hands....I broke a 78rpm record in this evening!
The crack is directly ran though the disk, like a radius. The record does not separate into 2 parts because it is hold be the label in the middle.
Can someone tell me how to repair it? Do I have to cut the label? Which type of glue should I use?

Please help,
Kevin

Super glue works, but you have to position it just right. And you can't expect normal use out of the record afterwards - just enough to be able to record it.

What's the title, artist, record label & number?
Someone might have a replacement.

Get Some epoxy from the hardware store, lay record on a flat surface, and apply with a q tip.I did this a few weeks back when i tried to repair a 78 that was delivered in the mail, that i purchased on ebay.

Don't apply too much glue, if it gushes out of the crack and onto the grooves, it'll harden and cause a nasty 'speed-bump' resulting in skips when played. Also found that (at least some) superglues turn the recrod white like a chemical reaction going horribly wrong. Usually does more harm than good.
