Hi Jaybird,

Remove the back cover and get the number off the amp/radio chasis. You may then find one schematic which will cover many similar units.

Thanks for the tip, however there was no chassis# visible. I was told by another source to check out Sams Photofacts. They have a schematic for $22. I will see if I can get one for a little less.

Yes, Sams can be rather expensive, I've ordered at least a dozen from them over the months. There are other sources like A.G. Tannenbaum and others that were mentioned in the archives.

Sometimes the chasis number is stamped in big black letters, and can also be found on little white stickers less than a square inch. There may also be date stickers like 06/65, etc. Sometimes I take a small mirror and a flashlight to get at all the different angles if the amp is still mounted in the cabinet. I have yet to come across a Maggie amp that didn't have some type of chasis identification.

Sam's offers them on CD-ROM for $20, but they cover many years of schematics.

Hey Larry,

It's been a while since I've been to the Sam's website. I do remember them offering some type of "package" deal covering many years, very expensive, before the CD-ROM thing. Does that one CD contain dozens of schematics for Magnavox? That would be cheaper than paying $25 per schematic when I ordered at least 8 of them at one time. --BB

Hey Larry:

Are there literally hundreds of schematics on one CD-ROM? That would be more economical than paying $25 bucks apiece (I bought eight at one time for $200 , but they cover many models.

I'm not finding that anymore. Now they are doing pay downloads. But they don't have electronic versions of old folders.
