Good morning all.

I recently picked up a VM console. It obvious has the radio and turntable inside. It has all the original paperwork, but I cannot date this sucker for the life of me. I've tried finding codes on the thing, but no luck. Its is a dark oak (?) cabinet, model 808. Any ideas? Frank has never sound better on this thing...

According to that website the 808 was introduced in 62. You can find out when the record changer was made by removing the record changer part and find the printed serial number of the changer...it has the date in it depending on when it was manufactured.

Great resource. I just picked up a model 852 and am refurbishing it.
