Another Noob with a Juke. Rowe AMI MM2

Ok I picked up my Rowe AMI MM2 last weekend and for being described as non working I'm quite surprised at what does work. First of all I managed to get it for free! So big win on that. The Rowe Vue works and has what seems to be original slides. Though they are so old you can barely make out what was on the slides to begin with. The text that is on the slides is viewable so I can tell what the slides were supposed to be.
The scan works and it will grab a record and play it. I can credit the machine up but sadly I can not make a selection.

I have no experience with these juke boxes at all. So any "you idiot don't do that" statements will be taken well

Anyway here is a quick video tour of what I have and what I have that works.

I have both the service manual and the parts catalog so I have lots of reading to do as well.

Hi 1badv6,

Please add your name and your location it helps.

Looking at the video clip of the jukebox you have a few issues.

I would start by cleaning the two open relay contacts on the button bank (if you are lucky these will be under a plastic cover)
I usually clean these with a taper of paper that is pulled between the contacts, do the same on the Search Unit on the open contacts of S1 & S2 (one each side of the search unit). From your video clip I think you said the latch bar solenoid is not working, check for voltage (30 volts AC) on the solenoid, check out the wiring if no voltage is present. It could be an issue with the normally open contact on R1 (7 & 8).

Good video by the way, I would have a look for some better slides, but you are lucky that you have a working projector.
