1998 Rowe 100 CD Wall Mount Juke Box

by Rican Flag » Mon Aug 03, 2015 4:11 am

Greetings Ladies & Gents!

I'm new here and joined because I am completely ignorant to my recently purchased Juke Box from my local VFW Post. I've mounted it on my "Man Cave" wall in my basement. Before I choose my favorite 100 Cd's and begin, I want to make sure this thing actually plays music. How do I do this? I do have both manuals, Volume 1 & 2, which seems quite vague to me in it's instructions. Also heard about the "Free Play" or "Auto Play" mode which is what I want to set it to. Please help, I would REALLY appreciate it! :) :) :) :)

It would help to answer your questions if I knew which model you purchased, and, did you attach speakers correctly ?
Also, was it working OK prior to purchase ?

Rowe made several different models of the wall mount jukeboxes. Which model number is it?

Hello Rican Flag,

Welcome to the forum.

If your CD Wallbox is a 1998 model it will be a Laser Star Starburst or Sunrise, the earlier models were the Storm & Berkley.

You will have to fully read both parts of the manuals a number of times before you go into the programming section, you will find a full tree of the various programming locations, but you will need to use these in conjunction with the explainations of each of the programming locations, to fully understand what options to choose.

Regards
Alan

Welcome to the board. To answer your specific question, you need to put at least one CD in the unit and make a selection of a song on that CD and see what happens. Then if it does not play and after you have read the manuals you can tell us what model it is, what it does not do and or what part of the instructions you do not understand.

Please understand that it is not possible to answer a persons questions without proper information,IE need to know what is not working and what is working?

Best
Darrell
