Anyone have an experience with one of the late 1960's Seeburg LP home units?

Hi Ron,

Merry Christmas! Last night we had some good friends over for dinner and the entire evening the M100A played in the back ground.

The youngest member of the group at 15 months stopped eating and turned and looked at the M100A every time it was changing records and then would turn his head back to eat when the music played! Priceless.

I cannot thank you enough for the help with the M100A.

I am glad to know you have knowledge of the AP1. I went and picked it up yesterday. $140. The young man I purchased it from got it a couple of years back from a guy in Santa Cruz. He told me he got it from the son of the first owner. It had been in storage for 10 to 20 years.

Apparently this man was given the unit for exceeding sales targets for Seeburg! He did not know if he worked for Seeburg or a Distributor, but he did say the son mentioned that the greater bay area was his territory.

The unit has some issues. It is doing the pick and return thing. I will clean everything and see if it come to life. If not, I will get ahold of you and bring it down.

Best in 2014, James
