2 Voice of Music Record Changer need repair

I have two Voice of Music record changers that need to be repaired. The first model I am going to picture
belongs to my grandfather. This is Voice of Music Console that looks like a desk. He keeps asking me who
repairs these kinds of units, and I simply do not know. Even when my Great Aunt and Uncle were having
problems with their 1959 RCA Ortophonic console, no one would look at it, and that has to be 20 years ago.
So if no one in my area would look at a vintage stereo 20 years ago, I know no one will look at them now, so
the internet is my last hope. I have used nothing but Magnavox Collaro record changers for the past 5 years
and I never had a problem with any of them. I remember when I bought my 1962 Magnavox Console Tube Set
all I had to do was plug it in, and its been working fine ever since. But it seems that the BSR changers and the
Voice of Music changers are of lesser quality and I don't know why. Here is the desk stereo.
Problem with this stereo: There is no needle, and once you hit reject it drops the record and shuts off. Sometimes
even when only switched to the on position, it will drop the record and shut off. Sometimes the platter wont
stay spining.
The second stereo is a General Electric, that was made about 1960 or so. This was in the elderly neighbors house
across the street. She just recently moved into a nursing home, and her grand daughter moved into her house, and
cleared it out and threw out most of her stuff. Can you imagine someone tossing a beautiful stereo like this in the
dumpster? They already busted the legs on it from throwing it in the dumpster, so my dad had to make fake legs for it.
As you can see from the pictures, it is a beautiful stereo, but it needs a little TLC. Its no where near as good as the
Magnavox I have up in my bedroom, but it still sounds pretty good, and I would hate to throw it in the trash. Something
is wrong with the record player in this one too. When I first got it up to the garage it wouldn't turn at all, but after a
while, I finally got it to turn. Now it does a lot of stopping and starting and wont spin at the right speeds. My dad went
to radio shack and got some type of lube, spray, or cleaning stuff, and I think it made it worse. There is a cartridge
and needle on this stereo, however it doesn't go very loud. The volume on the stereo is pretty good since I had my
portable dvd player hooked up to it and played CD's on it. If anyone knows of someone who fixes these things please
let me know. I am willing to take the record changers out of both units and ship them wherever to be repaired, because
I am not mechanical and have no clue how to fix these things myself, nor do I have the time. So any help would be
greatly appreciated. Have a nice day!
