I have some Rowe amps--do you know the model number--do you want to re-build it yourself, or do you want a "rebuilt" one ?? Ron Rich

Hi Ron,

The original 125 watt in the R-83 (also used in the 1980 R-84 & 1980 & 1981 versions of the R-85) was a 6-0738-02.

Regards
Alan

Hi Alan,
Thanks--but I find here today, many phonos have been "rewired" to use the later version of the amp, with the "non-round" connectors ! I think I have extras of both types--but I will need to search my stash !! Ron Rich

Question---
Why don't you just have the one you have rebuilt by someone in this business ?? Should be much less expensive ?? There is a list of repair people above, in the "Used-new parts--" , Announcement/sticky section, of this topic. Ron Rich

I was hoping to get one used a little bit less but it looks like the best way to go is to get it rebuilt .

IMHO---Your thinking is backward--if someone has a working one today, odds are, that it has been rebuilt-- This would raise the costs IMHO ? The questions are, who done it, and how well it was "rebuilt". If done correctly, it should run for 20 or so years, prior to needing to be rebuilt again. Ron Rich
