Wurlitzer 2310S, renovation is now finished. Check in the video!

Hi!
I would like to thank you all here helping me with my renovation.
Alan Segal, Rob-NYC & Ron Rich, ami-man just to mention a few of you.....
Without your help I wouldn't have come this far.

I have around 1000 photos of different parts and work I have done so I will share some of the photos here with you in a video.
I'm quite shure that this will not be my last thread here as I have a Rockola Capri that also need some refurbish in the future.
A new pickup and phono preamplifier is also on my 2310S to do list.

Gunnar, a remarkable, thorough restoration. I note that you have retained the sonotone 8T. Is that a final decision?

The Sonotone TA-8 was what I bought from beginning, but
Pickering V-15 and a new riaa preamp is my first choice!

I agree, a wonderful (and tedious) job.
And yes, after ALL that, to utilize an antiquated cartridge?
A Varco modern TN4B would be better suited, and easier to get replacement styli for.

The Varco looks at a quick glance a bit to wide for the narrow Wurlitzer tonearm!
But it might also work?
Have you done this upgrade yourself!

The Varco TN4 cartridge will fit in any standard tonearm to replace the old Sonotone.
The Varco's sound nice and track nicely too.

Very nicely done and extremely thorough job!

(I have a Stanton 500 AL II DJ Pro. They seem to appear periodically on e-bay. I think maybe Rob pointed me in this direction. While my jukebox is older 2150, the conversion to a magnetic cartridge required switching out the tonearm to one of the later model tonearms, such as is on yours. So you may be able to find the dimensions on that cartridge to compare to others you are considering as a way to validate fit.)
