Seeburg M100C selection issue

by steve_b10 » Fri Jan 04, 2013 8:18 pm

The Select light does light up after coins are deposited, selector buttons function correctly, select light does go out after selection is made, carriage scans but none of the selection levers on the pin bank pull in (select coils do not energize). The jukebox has been working correctly for all 100 selections prior to this issue which just occurred today. All relevant coils tested and are OK, contacts cleaned and adjusted. Where is the most likely place to check to see why a signal isn't getting to the pin bank select coils even when the Select light energizes?
Thanks, Steve.

Steve,
Besides the ten or so items listed in your service manual, trouble shooting guide section, check the fuse clip for cleanliness, and tightness. Ron Rich

Hi Ron,
Bingo, loose fuse holder. I did follow the arrows through the troubleshooting graphic, and went through the troubleshooting line items before posting, but didn't suspect the fuse holder. It seems to have been the culprit. Makes the most sense now since the issue only happened after the back door was opened then closed. Probably shook it loose a bit. Thanks Ron.
Steve.
