I am looking for a certain battery record player I saw when i was a kid around 1963 but i did not find out who made it. It had a red lid and white base and The case was made of a heavy cardboard with a canvas like covering on it. you could carry it like a suitcase after you close it and it had a speaker in the front and played only 45's. It had one knob the volume and the battery compartment was in the back of the case on the left side. you would turn a round metal piece to one side and insert 4 d batteries in to the case then slide the metal piece over to hold them in. The needle arm was manually operated and i remember it sounded pretty good.
