Thanks Ron. I am assuming astatic 15/17 is
Original equipment. Are these no longer made?
I'm sure their replacement cartridge would work
Fine. Also, should I look into magnetic cartridges?
I see where they're supposed to have better
Sound. Would they work with original equipment
On rockola #414? Thanks. Raven

Well, to be perfectly honest, I was fumbling around with the cartridge
To put a new needle in and I broke the holding
Clip for the cartridge! I soon found out it's just as
Cheap to buy a whole new cartridge that comes with
A clip, instead of just a clip. Just checking if there were
Any good upgrades that I should consider before ordering.
Thanks for info. Raven

Well, since you "copped" to that--what you are going to need to do is look carefully at your amp. SOME RockOla amps are switchable between a magnetic and ceramic carts. If your amp has the switch on it, I would use a Pickering NP/AC or a Stanton "500". If there is no switch, you will need to determine which type cart. was used and replace it ---for ceramic , I suggest a Pfanstiehl P-132D. Ron Rich
