Admiral Radio Model 9B14-UL

by rwdwrt » Mon Apr 23, 2007 2:42 am

I have come into possesion of an old Admiral Radio Model 9B14-UL. It is in a wooden cabinet 36"Wx36"Tx16"D it contains a fold out radio panel on the right side and a fold out turn table on the left. In the bottom is a large 10 or 12" speaker. I have yet to tinker with it to see if it works, it has been in an old cabin for maybe 40 years. I am looking for information on what exactly I have .......... ?????

You have a post WWII console. From 1948. These just don't have an following...no matter how good they look or operate. Most of these type radio/rp cost quite a bit in time and parts to get working right. It would be a fluke to get you investment back. Worth maybe $40-$60 depending on condition. Once upgraded it would be more. But fixing to sell; first have at least a pay for all parts up front buyer. Here's some tech info:
