Rockola 460 "Play Relay"

by AndyTheTim » Thu Jun 21, 2012 11:33 am

Hello Everyone,

I recently picked up a Rockola 460 jukebox from my uncle for $100. it was old and beat up so i took it off his hands.
Anyway, he told me a "jukebox repair man" took out a relay. (unfortunately he got very sick and died and never got his part back)
when i bought it from him i noticed the play relay was gone.i am new on the bored and wondering what the play relay is. i don't have a manual so i cant look it up (i'm in the process of buying a manual). when i make a selection it stops a pulls the pin,
but the record holder doesn't move (even when i pull "SCAN" switch). I'm hoping thats something to do with a play relay.

Thanks - Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Welcome !
I would guess that your guess is correct. However I don't know what a "play relay" is, nor do I have the foggiest idea why a "repairman" would "remove it", before having a replacement ready to install ? Wait till you get the books, and look it up--- Ron Rich
