Jukebox DVDs?

As a guy that love to repair Pinball machines, there are quite a few repair and collector DVDs/videos out there (i.e. www.pinrepair.com, Tilt: The Battle to Save Pinball, etc.)

As I slowly enter the world of Jukebox ownership/repair, just wondering if there are any Jukebox collector or repair DVDs out there that anyone recommends. I know that I could sit and just watch my jukebox mech for hours in facination, but that is starting to wear thin...

Thanks!

Davester.

Hello Davester,

Welcome to the forum.
I am not so sure how many DVD's there may be out there but there is loads of clips on youtube.

In the UK a guy from York produced a CD/DVD a number of years ago on a step by step instructions how to make a Continental copy jukebox out of materials that could be sourced from a local DIY store (MDF, allow trims etc), the guy offered a plastic dome, front perspex and speaker grill. This build used the Rowe Ami R-80S to R-83 or a R-84 to R-94 as a donor jukebox.

The instructions given were good and the results were quite good, speaking to a number of people that built this copy the cabinet could be built for around £400 to £450 including the dome, front panel and grill. Of course the additional cost of the donor jukebox had to be taken into consideration.

Regards
Alan

Thanks for the replies.
I've purchase the retro Wurlitzer video from the late 40's (and even made a pilgrimage to the building outside of Niagara Falls).
Also hit up a few of the videos on youtube too.

Just thought like in the pinball community, there were videos on collections and history for sale.
