I have a 1942 RCA Victrola Anniversary Model model V-215. This is a console phonograph, radio, shortwave. Everything works but the woodwork is only in fair condition.
Does anyone have any idea what this unit is worth??

I believe I have the same model. Do you have a photo of it? Mine is in the opposite condition. I refurbished the cabinet but I am afraid to even plug the thing in. The last time I remember it being plugged in was about 10-15 years ago. Over the years mice chewed on the wires. I haven't had it appraised but I had a antique dealer in my home to appraise some other items and was very interested in this piece. Also, do you happen to have an owners manual?

RCA Model V-215 dates to 1942 and should have record changer RP-160. According to a well known price guide it would have to be in rather good shape to be worth $110-145. It need not be working but it should have all knobs, tubes, other components, and finish should not require refinishing. And meet other criteria which too much to list. I would be interested in what an Antique dealer would pay or think one is worth. I don't see too many Antique dealers fooling with radios as antiques. Here's a drawing as bad or as good from RCA book.
