Seeburg Neon - CDM4i problem

Hi, first time poster so please be gentle with me.
I've got a Seeburg Neon with a CDM4 Industrial player that stopped working about 10-12 years ago and as I've now decided to hold off procrastinating, I'm going to do something about it.
It'll work up to the point of placing the CD on the player but the spindle won't spin. After a minute or so it returns the CD to the carousel. I vaguely recall it stopped working after I inadvertently connected the 4 wire audio? cable around the wrong way but it may be coincidental, it was a long time ago. Don't work on jukes or watch infomercials after 1.00 am, both will cost you.
Should I be looking at the decoder board as the culprit or the bottom circuit board ( the one the CDM4i's ribbon cable connects to. ) as to the reason the player won't spin up?

Thanks for any help.

CDM-4's are "famous" for that problem. Usually this is "very fix-able" with a dab of "Krazy Glue". What has happened is the "turntable" has come loose from the shaft. Check this and re-glue it, if so, and you should have a working CDM-4.
I doubt the audio cable had anything to do with this--but, who knows ? Ron Rich

Thanks Ron, it seemed to be connected OK. However, when I was checking out the CD player I noticed the data cable was missing from the board under the CD player - there is a 14 pin connector with nothing connected. A long time ago I gave the jukebox to a local technician to try resolve the original problem and he had it for 2 years before selling his store. The new owner called me to take it back and I assume it hadn't been fixed. I'd say the cable may have been removed and not replaced.
Can I correctly assume this cable would connect to the same decoder board as the audio cable?

Sorry,I can't answer that, as I have had zero experience with "Seeburg" CD phonographs--
I have only worked on Rowe's and a few RO models--but if I remember correctly, the CDM-4 requires at least two cables ? Ron Rich

Good enough for me, I'll source a cable from somewhere. I've seen a few pics on the web of the jukebox's insides and the decoder definitely has a cable connected that I don't have so there's a fair chance it's the one coming from the player.
Thanks again for your help and prompt replies. Cheers.
