Virus warning !

Guy's,
It has been brought to my attention that "someone" is offering at least one of my guides as a "download". Well, number one, this is not legal, as I have never given permission to do this--and MORE important, if you attempt to download it, you WILL get a virus !!
Please, contact me directly at:
ronnnrich@yahoo.com, or PM me, if you wish to purchase a legitimate copy, of either of my "Seeburg Guides".
Thanks !
Ron Rich

Hi Ron: Thanks for the warning.
If that's your personal email, and not a disposable/temporary address, you may want to show it as a screen image, so the spambots won't harvest it. (By the way, are there really three "Ns" in your address?)
Another way is to post it like this:
Email -- Ronnn Rich (All run together) AT yahoo DOT com.

Hi Joe,
Thanks--but it's too late--I get about 100 spams a day--I just delete them !
Yep--someone had the name first, and also with two "n's--so I just used three--

The big problem is a person who would steal another's intellectual property. I hope you find who it is.

Hi Steve,
No one seems to know--- I just hope the person doing it can sleep with him/her self !
There is also another ? "person", coping and selling scanned copies of my MicroLog trouble Shooting Guide--at least anyone sending him/her money will get "something", besides a virus ----

If anyone has one ( the cover LOOKS, poorly scanned),
Please contact me--
Thanks,
Ron Rich

I sympathize with Ron, it's a damn shame that people have to be so dishonest and shady.
I recently received a Google business listing form in the mail at the shop.
Apparently, someone is using MY SHOP address with ANOTHER business name.
Some non-existent computer repair name, no phone number, just my shop address with wrong business hours.
It pisses me off, and if I find out who's behind it, I'll take legal action.

Matt,
You have just hit a "sore spot" with me--"Legal action", IMHO, is a farce--even when you "win", you loose !
Costs are so high that only the lyers make money--as the old saying goes--
Small town with one lawyer in it--he's broke--add a second lawyer, and they both, quickly, become rich--

It's approaching the time for me to do a full maintenance on my AY160. I've been putting it off for various reasons... But I decided to support this project and fight piracy. I placed my order earlier:

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your purchase, hope it helps ! --but I'm curious--why did you use Amazon, rather then just contacting me ?
P.S. Still have not caught the person re-printing them---

Hi Ron:
I have an amazon account and it is easier for me to charge it rather than PayPal.

Hi Matt,
yep--I'z a star whut never newit--used to come home from Kindergarten with one or two pasted to my forehead-- My Mom always asked why I only had one, or two--"Ralphie" ( the kid next door) had three--he wound up getting killed in prison, at about the age of 34--Ron Rich
