Victrola Electrola 9-54

by marcapra » Sun Apr 25, 2010 2:41 am

I am currently restoring a Victrola Electrola 9-54 (1928). The Radiola 64 was rebuilt and is working. It has Victor's second record changer and that is what I'm working on now. I'm trying to figure out how to reconnect it to the amplifier. I have the schematic from Nostalgia Air, but it is very hard to read. Has anyone out there had any experience with of these?

Look in the upper left hand corner of the schematic. There you will see "PICKUP" with one wire going to the "RECORD VOLUME CONTROL" and the other wire going to the "PICKUP SHORTING SWITCH" That should do it.
Vinyl is disease which attacks that area of the brain desiring digital recordings. Once you catch it, you are cured.
