Hi Everybody,

Looking for one of these. Must be in no less than superb, near-new working and cosmetic condition. Furniture style unimportant. Must have the old-style Collaro/Micromatic turntable (the one with the black, flared tonearm) and include the AM/FM/FM stereo radio. Documentation and history not absolutely necessary, but if you've got it, so much the better. Will travel to pick up within a reasonable distance from western Massachusetts.

Hi Joe, and thanks for the suggestion. I have indeed been looking at Craig's List from time to time and have come across some of the very listings for which you so kindly provided links.

Probably, it's because I'm being so specific, i.e. gotta be a Magnavox, gotta have that turntable, and gotta be in 1st-rate condition..that I see so relatively few possibilities. But I'm willing to wait for the right one. Thanks again for the response and tips!

I know it is not exactly what you are looking for, but I have a Magnavox Concert Grand, and was wondering if you would be interested. If not, do you know anyone else who might be interested? I was going to list it on eBay until I found this site. I am in Toledo, OH. It is in extremely excellent condition, including book and Magnanox certificate. I started to search e-bay to see about selling my Magnavox stero that we purchased Jan 30, 1962. It's been stored (covered) in the garage. We live in El Cajon, CA and my family is coming from Oly, WA at the end of the month to clear out garage, rent a truck, take to Oly. to sell at garage sale and e-bay.

It's in perfect condition, "Imperial 18th Century traditional model 2-ST660"I have the oroginal paper work and even the local newspaper ad that led me to it so many years ago.

It was one of the first "high-fi's" and such a wonderful new thing at the time. There's not a scratch on it and the turntable works. Of course it has the adapter for the 45's to play.

I've no clue as to the value and will continue to research.

You can pick it up in El Cajon, CA or after the first of Sept get it in Olympia (Lacey) Washington.

I can't believe I saw a "wanted" when I just started to research selling it.

I'm interested in the unit or one similar, is it still for sale!

I have the guts from one of these. It had a black and white ...about 25 inch screen in the middle. The radio still works. I haven't tried the turntable in a while. Just thought I'd let you know. I really enjoyed it way back when. What great sound. Call me Raymond.

I believe I have one of these in brand new condition. Original manual, top has 2 pieces that slide. One side is the turntable / radio other side is for storage.
