Rowe has many different title racks, that have a different amount of pages. There are limit switches on the rack to tell the rack when to start and stop. You can set the limits thru the CCC. You can also set the speed of the pages. The limit setting should be the number of pages in your rack. If it's not set, your rack will let the motor continue to run 'past' the last page. There is a safety, so your rack motor wont run on too long. Your manual might not have the newer information in it.

Thanks John
That actually explains everything, even why the pages stopped turning in the first place. One of the bottom "legs" was broken on one of the pages. Before I fixed it, it would jam the page half turned which would allow the motor to run continuously. That obviously made the CCC cut-out, thus requiring the reset.
Just thought I would document that in case anyone else has a similar problem.

Hi Keith,
I don't think that the broken page caused that problem--unlike almost all other title racks, the CD-RN has no "last page", or "first page" switch. It just has a "page flipped" switch. The way that works, is the program allows a time frame for the page to flip--motor is energized for that period of time, only. If the "broken" page was not detected, it would have turned over the next page, till it "saw" a flipped page, or--till the motor timed out. Once timed out, it should automatically reset, so that either page button can be pressed to flip pages again--Ron Rich

In that case, the reason for the CCC reset is still a mystery - jukeboxes, who'd want one?

Keith,
The "reason" for the CCC reset, is because the program got "glitched-up". If you have the latest -20 version CCC, and the latest 4.1 or 4.3 version chip, that problem seems to have been cured. The reset, re-writes the whole CCC program into the chip--- Ron Rich
